Why is there an admission fee?

While the Canadian Forces performers like the Snowbirds and Skyhawks appear at no cost, hosting an airshow comes with a lot of expenses. The local organizers are responsible to cover the costs of everything else needed to make the event safe and enjoyable for everyone like: Accommodations, hydration, & transport for Snowbirds & SkyHawks pilots, performers and crews

  • Accommodations, hydration, & transport for Snowbirds & SkyHawks pilots, performers and crews
  • Aircraft parking and FBO support
  • Safety & insurance
  • Sound systems, portable toilets & site preparation

Your ticket directly supports these expenses and helps keep the event running safely.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Dogs and pets (including companion pets) will not be permitted at the Airshow. Certified service dogs will be permitted and those owners encouraged to take precautions for jet noise.

Fly-in & Parking

How does parking work?

Parking:

  • Vehicles are parked on arrival, in order, within designated zones
  • The surface is a rough-cut hayfield – expect uneven terrain that may not be suitable for all vehicles
  • No reserved spots; arrive early for best selection
  • No idling permitted during the show
Can I fly in to the airshow?

Yes! Purchase a Fly-In ticket (by reservation only). Space is limited.
If weather or conditions prevent your arrival, your ticket will be honoured for a drive-in instead.

If I leave, can I drive back in?

NO re-entry. Our volunteer parking coordination will not be able to accommodate attendees safely returning to a parking space once it has been vacated.

The Canadian Forces and Airshow Organizers actively monitor weather and smoke conditions in the area throughout the weekend.
