ABOUT

The Camrose Flying Club is a passionate group of enthusiasts dedicated to promoting aviation in and around Camrose, Alberta, Canada and Camrose Municipal Airport.

As the proud host of the largest and longest running Fly-In Breakfast in Western Canada, the Camrose Flying Club has encouraged the spirit of General Aviation for more than six decades. Held annually on the last Sunday of May, the Camrose Fly-In Breakfast turns the local airfield into the busiest airport in Canada for just a few short hours. More than a thousand community supporters visit the annual event to see the more than one-hundred mostly general aviation aircraft parked on the airfield.

The Club is dedicated to encouraging youth interest in aviation and technology – Alberta’s future generations of aviators and technologists. They continue to inspire young aviators by hosting the COPA Discover Aviation Program, endeavouring to give local youth their first flying experience, and by accepting the lead in hosting regular events, including visits by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds to the Camrose Airport and Region. The Club has established a Battle River Community Foundation scholarship endowment to assist local students pursuing careers in aviation and technology.

*MEETING TIMES: Meetings are held at Camrose Airport Terminal Building (Camrose, AB) at 6pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. All are welcome to attend!
