Performances by:
Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornet Demonstration Team
The CF-18 Demonstration team represents the aviators of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) who conduct and support operations at home and around the world every day. The team will showcase the abilities of Canada’s multi-role fighter through an impressive aerobatic routine at the Camrose Drive-In Airshow
Canadian Forces Snowbirds
Be inspired by the CF Snowbirds / Snowbirds des FC as they soar (upside-down) over Camrose with their thrilling aerobatic performance! Serving as ambassadors of the Canadian Armed Forces, the CF Snowbirds demonstrate the high level of skill, professionalism, teamwork, discipline and dedication inherent in the men and women of the CAF and they inspire the pursuit of excellence wherever they go.
CH-146 Griffon Tactical Helicopter Demonstration
Watch a talented crew from CFB Edmonton’s 408 Squadron as they show us how their CH-146 Griffon utility tactical-transport helicopter supports the tactical transportation of troops and material as well as search and rescue operations, surveillance and reconnaissance, training, casualty evacuations and counter-drug operations. (This performance is subject to the active wildfire season.)
About #OpINSPIRATION
This summer, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be joined by the CF-18 Demonstration team as they again fly under Operation INSPIRATION and attend airshows and conduct flybys across Canada and the United States. #OpINSPIRATION was conceived by Captain Jenn Casey, the Snowbirds’ talented Public Affairs Officer in the early part of the pandemic, with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds crossing the country to salute Canadians doing their part to fight the spread of COVID-19.
Flying under Operation INSPIRATION will also provide an opportunity to carry on the legacy of Captain Jenn Casey, who lost her life during the first iteration of Operation INSPIRATION in May 2020 and whose dedication was instrumental to connecting the CAF with Canadians during her time with the air demonstration teams. Both teams are honoured to continue this work.
